“The service is completely secured through the highest level of industry standard SSL encryption. Such prevents that your personal data is revealed to other parties besides the Credit Card Company.
(USAICS Organization itself does not have full access to your Credit card number; only the usual last four digits)”
Why do I have more than one user number?

Did you receive my photo(s)?
If you have carried out the online upload correctly you may check this information in the user section clicking "edit". If such was sent by regular mail you will be getting an email as soon as we receive the photographs and process them.
Why is my credit card being rejected?
"In order to use the on-line registration process you must hold an International Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express)."
How will I know if I was selected?
” The USAICS organization center will notify all winners of the Green Card lottery by the contact information (email, phone or regular mail) provided by the applicants during (or later updated) the application process. You will be notified between April and June of the coming year together with the U.S government letter explaining how to apply to the Immigrant Visa. As stated earlier the applicants must meet the necessary requirements.”
Do I need a printer?
No, it is not mandatory to use a printer as you can easily do this by uploading it to USAICS website. However, if you choose to send it by regular mail then a printer will be most necessary. If you choose to perform this way please print the "photo page" after entering the "user area" and attach your photo to it. After this you may send your photo(s) by regular mail
Can I pay cash or by Bank Transfer?
"The best and most secure way to pay the service fee is by a valid International Credit Card. Other payment methods are available upon demand. Go to http://www.USAICS.org/pay/ for more details."
Why do certain countries not qualify?
"Diversity visas are meant to provide a better opportunity to countries with a low immigration to the U.S.A, that is why countries with a high admission rate to the U.S are not allowed to enter this lottery (meaning countries from which a total of 50,000 persons in the Family-Sponsored and Employment-Based visa categories immigrated to the United States during the previous five years.)"
What are the options when sending my photo(s)?
"You can either: (1) Upload your electronic picture(s) from your online account, OR, (2) Send regular applicant passport photos to USAICS by regular mail, attaching them to the photo page you printed. "
How many photos do I need to upload/send?
“You must add a photograph per each family member.
IMPORTANT: Do not forget your spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21. Following the new rules regulations of the State department the USAICS organization is now obliged to require that ONLY one application is sent; if yours was already sent then no need for further concerns. You can always rest assured that we will take all necessary measures in order to keep your application valid and running in this year's program.”

What is the cost for the Green Card Lottery program?
"Participation in the American Green Card Lottery Program is free. However, the USAICS Organization charges a fixed fee per application only to ensure that all the US BCIS requirements are met. According to US Officials, 2.5 Million applications were rejected last year due to misinterpretation of the requirements (out of 10 Million forms submitted). We prevent this from happening."
How do I edit my application?
It is quite simple to update your application. To do so please login to your account here http://www.USAICS.org/user using the username and password chosen by you. Next, just click on the edit button that will take you to the screen where you will be able to edit your application. If by any chance you forgot your username/password just use the "forgot username/password?" option in the same page.
Why is it 2007 and the Program name is DV2008?
"This year (2007) Green Card lottery program is DV2008 and is scheduled to be closed December 30, 2007."

What is USAICS refund policy?
"You may be eligible for a refund, however such will always be arbitrated by the USAICS Management department. A paid fee is NOT refunded if application’s filing turns out to be impossible due to any circumstances beyond the control of USAICS Organization. (For example, including but not limited to Act of War, Acts of Nature, Technological limitations, economical Resources, Legislative or procedural change and/or State Action)."

"The program year (2007) is the year when Green Card holders will be able to enter the USA with their new visa. The process has four stagess; here are the dates for each stage: 1. Submission - Oct-Nov 2007 - Applicants can apply for the DV2008 program. 2. Lottery - Mar-Apr 2008 - Winners are chosen by the Immigration Department. 3. Process - Winners apply for Green Card using their winning notifications. 4. Entry - Green Card holders who have won the lottery are allowed to enter the United States During FY 2008.";
